Corrugated iron products also achieved positive results with an order of over 10,000 tons entering the Thai market.

With the wood industry, Mr. Huynh Quang Thanh, General Director of Hiep Long Wood Processing Company Limited (Binh Duong Province), said that the company had enough contracts to produce and process wood for export from now to the end of the year. The value of the export contract is about 4 million USD, up 10% over the same period last year. Mr. Thanh also said that due to the increase in export goods, enterprises are short of labor force about 20%. Therefore, the company is focusing on recruiting employees to meet delivery schedule. However, the recruitment at this time is facing many difficulties. Other wood processing companies are also falling into a similar situation.

According to the Binh Duong Wood Processing Association, there are more than 300 wood enterprises in the area, most of them have started working normally again. Many businesses have signed contracts with a sufficient quantity of goods for export until the end of the year.
